The sandy, white beaches are perfect for long walks, sunbathing and swimming. Big Bay and Sunset Beach are legendary for their world class kite surfing and windsurfing. At the beach one can often see kite surfers hanging from huge kites, being dragged through the surf by the wind. The town of Table View is a developing residential area popular with young families. |

Bloubergstrand is 20 minutes drive from the City Centre and is the gateway to the seafood mecca of the Cape West Coast. It is as popular for "getting away from it all" as it is for its unique outdoor seafood restaurant. On the west side of Cape Town there is definitely no shortage of entertainment, with vibrant beachfront restaurants, cafe's and clubs. |
