The N1 traverses South Africa from Cape Town in the south to the Beit Bridge border post with Zimbabwe in the north. Travelling the distance of 1922 km you drive through a wonderland of sceneries. The Cape with

and beauty. The semi-desert land of the Karoo giving way to the
Free State with its rolling hills and wide golden plains. Gauteng, place of Gold, is home to our greatest cities. Limpopo
has diverse landscape from bushveld and savannah to sub-tropical forests.

| Lions are the only true social cats living in groups called a pride and the most powerful of the African predators. Their roar can be heard over a distance of 8-10 km. |
The Baobab can grow up to 25 meters and can live for several 1000 years. In the wet months water is stored in its fire-resistant trunk for the nine dry months ahead. |
The Lappet-faced Vulture is the largest of the African vultures with a wingspan of over three metres. Like many other large, long-lived birds they pair up for life. |
