This journey takes you through the Caprivi, a complex network of rivers, flood plains and swamps across the newly completed
Katima Mulilo Bridge which carries the TransCaprivi Highway over the Zambezi River into Livingstone. This historic colonial city is
named for missionary and explorer David Livingstone and is
home to the Mosi-oa-Tunya (Victoria Falls). From here
take the Kazungula Ferry across the 400-metre-wide Zambezi River, into the northern part of Chobe National Park, an ultimate safari experience. Continue through the park, with its abundance of elephant and other game, over the bridge at Ngoma and back into Namibia. |

| The Caprivi is a narrow strip of land in the far northeast of Namibia, about 400 kilometres long.
The abundance of water in the region sustains a variety of animals and birds. |
Livingstone is rapidly becoming the Adventure Centre of Southern Africa, with many adrenaline sports, unmatched scenery and the spectacular Victoria Falls.

Spotted hyenas are thought of as scavengers and although they do scavenge they are also effective predators.
They live in large groups called "clans".

Locally known as mukusi, Zambezi teak has a strait trunk and wide-spreading crown. The high quality wood is commonly used in the manufacture of furniture. |
The sound of the African Fish Eagle has become synonymous with the sound of Africa.
Its habitat is usually limited to larger rivers, lakes and dams. |
