Africa Adventure Travel News Map

The N2 is the main coastal highway of South Africa which runs from Ermelo in Mpumalanga, a province of extraordinary beauty, down the south coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal with its kaleidoscope of wonders and the Eastern Cape which boasts remarkable natural diversity before terminating in one of the most beautiful cities of the world, Cape Town in the Western Cape. Our beaches are more than just a haven for sun-worshippers and surfers, there is so much to see and do along our coastline.

Garden Route
St Lucia Wetland Park in KwaZulu Natal is a World Heritage Site and contains a greater bio-diversity than the Kruger National Park or Botswana's Okavango Delta. The Wild Coast, birthplace of Nelson Mandela has remained virtually unspoiled with lush forest, secluded beaches, rocky headlands & waterfalls that tumble into the sea. The Garden Route is one of our natural wonders with its pristine beaches, mountains, forests, lakes, rivers, lagoons & estuaries. It is an absolute holiday destination.

The African Elephant is the largest land mammal with tusks that grow for most of their life as an indicator of age. They use their favoured right or left tusk as a tool. The Marula tree grows in one area on the entire planet, subequatorial Africa. It holds a position of importance in both the animal kingdom & in human legend and ritual.

The Lilac Breasted Roller is named after its spectacular tumbling rolls that they perform during courtship & to confuse predators. It has 7 different colours on its body.
