No journey to South Africa is complete without a trip to the memory-filled and atmospheric Battlefields in KwaZulu-Natal. A place where one can stand and reflect at the exact spots where Zulu warrior, Boer nationalist and British redcoat fell during the epic three way struggle of our formative era. Walk in the footsteps of famous military strategists like Shaka, Winston Churchill, Mahatma Gandhi and General Louis Botha who all played some part in the battles fought here. This is an area where lone forts and small graveyards stand, to remind us all where an integral part of South African history took place!
