Occupying the southern tip of Africa, South Africa has a long coastline stretching more than 2 500 kilometres from the desert border with Namibia on the Atlantic coast, around the tip of Africa, then east and northeastwards to the border with Mozambique on the Indian Ocean. This diverse and fascinating country has a perfect mix of landscapes, people, history and culture, offering the traveller a unique experience. With its temperate climate, long stretches of beautiful beaches and a multitude of spectacular game reserves South Africa is a country filled with endless adventure and exciting activities ranging from bungy jumping and surfing to hot air ballooning and playing golf.
Drawing people from all corners of the globe, Namibia is desert country, situated on the south western coast of Africa. The coastal areas are often foggy or overcast and cooler whilst the interior of Namibia has temperatures synonymous with a desert landscape - hot during the day, cool, sometimes cold nights and very little rainfall. This friendly country, with diverse cultural groups has its own rich heritage and traditions, with 60 per cent of the population living in the North while the southern and coastal areas are almost uninhabited. Namibia provides the visitor a journey of incredible peace and tranquility whilst still offering equally exciting adventures and activities as South Africa, i.e. sandboarding, breathtaking scenic flights, horse riding and more. |

Bloukrans Bridge on the Garden Route has worldwide the highest commercial bungy jump site from a bridge. At 216m above the Bloukrans River, you are able to jump 365 days of the year unless there are gale force winds. The rest of South Africa offers other bungy jump sites including a jump off the towers of an old power station in Soweto, south of Johannesburg. |
With some of the largest sand dunes in the world, there is no better way to experience the thrill and excitement of the Namib Desert then zooming down the dunes on a sandboard. Warm temperatures allow sandboarding to be done in shorts and a t-shirt and as the sand is non abrasive, if you fall you will only be a little dusty. No experience is necessary. |
Horse riding safaris are available in South Africa and Namibia. The Limpopo Province in South Africa offers the chance to see lots of game, while the Western Cape takes you through mountains and along sandy beaches. Experience the magnificence of Namibia on a horse trail through the desert, surrounded by the dramatic and austere beauty of sand dunes.

Started in the Tsitsikamma Forest on the Garden Route, other sites can be found in the Karkloof Forest of KwaZulu Natal as well as in Magaliesburg. |
Tailor made packages take you on scenic flights, in light aircraft, over the incredible Namib Desert, as dry as the Sahara but richer in fauna and flora, attracting visitors worldwide. The Sossusvlei dunes, constantly changing in colour are spectacular from the air and special flights allow one to glimpse old coastal diamond camps. |
Balloon Safaris are the perfect way in which to observe your natural surroundings. From South Africa, with its vast expanse of wildlife and open plains to Namibia with deserts and canyons, indulge in this wonderful pastime whilst sipping champagne and hovering over beautiful Africa.
