| Route: |
We drove from Lake Kariba over the big dam to Zimbabwe and onward to the Headlands. |

| Highlights: |
The main road leads to the dam wall, which straddles the Zimbabwe-Zambia border. You can walk or drive across the dam wall into Zambia. You can walk across the dam to have a look at the spectacular views even if you’re not going to Zambia. |

| Diary: |
A long drive, we got some Diesel in Zimbabwe (30litre for 60 US$!). After we prepared our camp, have barbecued, we looked at the stars. It cooled off in the evening and we were really happy about this. |
