From the Headlands to Beira. |

| Highlights: |
Beira is the second largest city in Mozambique. When 1887 a military post arose, the city grew up around it, they gave it the name of the Crown Prince Luis Filipe, which carried the title prince of Beira. Today Beira is a modern city but the influence of the UdSSR in the cold war, let it looks like a Soviet suburb. It had a population of 546.000 inhabitants an estimated in 2006. Together with Maputo and Nacala it is the third large seaport for the international navy from Mozambique. |

A long drive, we changed money in a shopping centre and bought something for lunch. We ate at the parking area. In the parking area a chicken in a plastic bag (still alive) lay under a tree. |

Some snacks for breakfast, for lunch we had fast food, for dinner we went in the restaurant at the beach. |
