Highlights:

After the civil war a lot of refugees came to Beira. Beira is the capital of the Sofala province. The city lies into the - know dry - swamps of the Pungwe River. The climate is hot and wet, especially between Octobre and February. The city was once associated with Malaria.

Downfalls: The toilets and showers need renovation.
 
Diary: Relaxed in the shadow, spent hours in the really warm ocean, looked around, taken a shower and went for dinner in the restaurant, which was at the beach.
 
Provisions: Real german "Lebkuchen" (gingerbread) for breakfast, eggs for lunch and for dinner we went to the idyllic restaurant at the beach.
