| Highlights: |
After the civil war a lot of refugees came to Beira. Beira is the capital of the Sofala province. The city lies into the - know dry - swamps of the Pungwe River. The climate is hot and wet, especially between Octobre and February. The city was once associated with Malaria. |

The toilets and showers need renovation. |

| Diary: |
Relaxed in the shadow, spent hours in the really warm ocean, looked around, taken a shower and went for dinner in the restaurant, which was at the beach. |

| Provisions: |
Real german "Lebkuchen" (gingerbread) for breakfast, eggs for lunch and for dinner we went to the idyllic restaurant at the beach. |
