Route: From Beira to Inhassoro.

Highlights:

The EN1 continues north from the Vilankulo turn-off through the Tamane gas fields until, after approximately 49 kilometers, you reach the Inhassoro turn-off (S 21° 34.370 E 35° 04.266). There is an impressive little tyre shop here, in case you need to have a puncture repaired. It is another 14 kilometers down a single-lane tar road to the coast and Inhassoro. On the way down, the road crosses a shallow river and wetlands, which is a good spot for aquatic birds - we spotted openbilled stork and African jacana. A T-junction as you enter Inhassoro gives you the choice of turning either left into the Seta Estancia Turistica, or right into town.

Diary: After a long drive we searched for a good campingsite, because it was nearly full, prepared our camp, walked at the beach, had dinner, enjoyed the view of the ocean and went to bed.
