Afri-Chic is a 40 minute drive from the Cradle of Humankind and also Sun City where elephant riding, the crocodile farm and the Gary Player golfcourse are great attractions. The Pilanesberg Game Reserve next to Sun City has great opportunities to see Africa's " Big 5". Afri-Chic is also close to the Kgaswane Nature Reserve with its fine selection of hiking trails.
Rustenburg has no shortage of craft galleries, farm stalls and eating venues, while the rugged area around the town is excellent for mountain biking. The surrounding nature reserves make for excellent birdwatching.
