Blissful tranquillity in our private forest and large tropical garden of water and birdsong, Bamboo, the guest house is perfectly situated midway between two award winning golf courses and five minute drive to Knysna's bustling town centre. The vibrant waterfront, restaurants, the famous Heads and Leisure Isle's two sandy beaches await.
Eight beautifully decorated garden cottage rooms have access via elevated wooden walkways through our magical gardens.

Three well-equipped bamboo screened or walled courtyard garden rooms and two elevated loft suites all have separate entrances.
The sumptuous Honeymoon Loft suite has a large private sitting room with doors to an elevated tree top deck and a spacious en suite bedroom with half poster bed and fireplace. Tucked under trees, the honeymoon garden cottage is in a secluded part of the gardens and has a large private deck with undercover terrace, a large bedroom (king-size bed), a luxurious bathroom and a private sitting room area with a fireplace.
Each cottage room displays local artwork and offers all the modern amenities including an iPod docking station and flat screen colour TV. We also have two pools and offer handicap access to rooms / facilities, off street parking, a laundry service and airport shuttles (George airport). |

The private terrace, deck or courtyard garden is a perfect place, after an exciting day out on the Garden Route, to relax and enjoy a cold drink while taking in the garden's many bird varieties.
Breakfast is served on the deck in our own piece of original Knysna forest or in the cosy breakfast room. Lounge in our poolside Boma in the gardens, where evenings spent around the Boma's firepit are a treat with the option of a traditional braai (barbecue) or home cooked meal by arrangement.

Your hosts are always available to share their local knowledge of the area with its multitude of activities with you and to arrange bookings for excursions and restaurants.
Bollard Bay beach is three minutes away, as is Leisure Isle with its watersport activities. Also, enjoy sundowners and picnics on the Knysna Lagoon in our leisure boat.
For the more adventurous and active guest we co-ordinate eco-adventure outings and activities including forest cycling, lagoon and ocean sunset cruises, guided walks, abseiling, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkelling, bungi jumping and many more.
