Situated about 5 kilometres from
the town centre, this is the only B&B establishment directly on the
beach! Enjoy the magnificent view of the sea from each room, listen to
the waves and smell the fresh sea breeze.
Its nautical theme, with portholes
for windows and the left wing resembling the bow of a ship, adds to the
beauty of the surroundings. |
| The lodge offers ten double rooms
and five family units, each with en-suite bathrooms, telephone, TV and
balcony. Nine of the units have fully equipped kitchenettes and fire places.
Instead of being numbered, each of the 15 rooms are named after shipwrecks
claimed by Namibia's treacherous coastline.
The rooms are luxuriously comfortable.
The design of the lodge allows for privacy - one can hardly see one's neighbours. |

are set out on the luscious lawn and beach for guests to enjoy the fresh
sea breeze and the warm sun.
Sunsets are spectacular at the Beach
Lodge. Once the sun has disappeared beyond the horizon the beach is lit,
which creates a tranquil mood accentuated by the roar of the Atlantic.
Nothing on earth beats this lullaby.
