Four star graded Böhm's Zeederberg is a small owner-run lodge since 1975 situated on a hilltop in the picturesque Malaria free Sabie River Valley, close to the Kruger National Park. We speak German.
With majestic views over the valley and the river below, our farm consists of 60 hectares of indigenous bush, alive with varied wildlife and a myriad of indigenous birds. Our property borders the pine- and eucalyptus forests of Sabie and the Hazyview agricultural heartland producing subtropical fruits.
|
Our 10 comfortable, individually decorated rooms are all situated in the garden around the swimming pool. Each air-conditioned en suite room is equipped with modern amenities and has a private veranda with views over the valley. While two rooms / units are in one garden chalet, our honeymoon cottage offers secluded privacy. There are also two family units available to accommodate a couple with two children and two of our units are equipped with a third bed for a child.
There is no television / audio equipment in the rooms. However, a communal TV lounge with a satellite dish in the main building is available for your enjoyment. |

The swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi are centrally situated within our two-hectare lush subtropical garden, a birdwatcher's paradise. Our indigenous trees have been labelled for easy identification and the garden also offers many private corners to simply sit and watch the beauty of nature or to read a good book from our library.
While our English and Continental breakfast buffet offers a large variety of hot and cold meat as well as vegetarian dishes, our restaurant serves home cooked dinners - German, French and African fusion country cooking combined with fresh herbs from the garden.
Enjoy a sundowner on our cocktail terrace or a sherry in front of our log fire in the lounge on cooler nights. We also have a ladies bar, a curio shop and a wine shop for your convenience.

On our beautiful walking trail down to the river you can expect to see many water birds, iguanas, otter and fish on the water's edge. A picnic basket can be enjoyed on the rocks next to the waterfall. Many more walking trails are in close proximity to the lodge and we give updated advice on walking trails, scenic places to visit and special interest requests. Our in-house tour operator offers transfers to any destination.
A 30 minutes drive takes you to Kruger Park and the Panorama Route and a one-hour drive to the Blyde River Canyon. There is also a myriad of activities and facilities nearby such as river rafting, abseiling, horse riding, quad biking and golf as well as a breeding centre for endangered animals, guided walks in private game reserves and arts & crafts to name a few. We are looking forward to welcoming you at Böhm's Zeederberg.
