Dugong Beach Lodge is situated on the East-African seaboard, on the coast of Mozambique within the boundaries of the Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary.
Located on 30 000 hectare of pristine marine and wildlife territory, it provides a unique beach and wilderness experience in a hidden corner of sub-tropical Africa.
The diverse eco-system of wilderness and wetland, with its power white beaches and crystal clear water host a magnificent array of fish, dolphin and flocks of flamingos and pelicans. |
Shallow and deepwater reefs reveal beautiful creatures such as the leatherback turtles, sailfish and manta ray, to name a few.
Most importantly, it is the one of the few sites in the world where the near-extinct dugong (which resembles a sea lion) is found. |

There is an interflowing swimming pool with an island-style bar and martini seats with spectacular views of the ocean.
Sample the unique cuisine of Mozambique on the deck, beneath the African stars or at tables set on the beach. Discover the tranquillity and unspoiled paradise of Dugong Beach Lodge.
