Endangered Wildlife Expeditions, South Africa

Ever wondered what it is like to actually pack everything you need in a Landrover Defender and then hit the wild side?

Endangered Wildlife Expeditions can let you do just that. Come with us and explore South Africa and Botswana in true safari style.

There is no better way to explore the more than 3 million hectares of red dunes and scrub of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park (previously Kalahari Gemsbok National Park). During nine incredible days we will take you on an journey through the park.

You will see imposing trees which provide shade and vantage points for huge black maned lions and leopards. Morning and evening game drives are the order of most days, bringing you in contact with the secretive life of Africa's wildlife.

Sunsets set the mood for sundowners, enjoyed next to a crackling fire especially prepared for "potjiekos" (food in a cast-iron pot cooked on an open fire).

Bedding down on the banks of the mighty Orange River is quite an experience: the sound of the river as your lullaby and counting stars instead of sheep.

Across the border Botswana offers the magnificent Okavango Delta teeming with wildlife and this tour can last up to 17 days. Along the way we will meet the locals and witness the traditional African way of life. There will be plenty of time for the convoy to explore the maze of tracks in the area.

After river trips in Botswana and overnighting in desert camps in the Kalahari, your Endangered Wildlife Expedition will leave you most content and filled with wonder.
