Gametrackers, South Africa

Gametrackers took their passion for Africa and its inhabitants and turned it into a funfilled adventure.

Share in an unequalled experience as we guide you through the piece of paradise that is Pilanesberg National Park, in truly unconventional ways. The park is situated about 150 kilometres west of Pretoria.

We always work with the best guides and instructors, thus ensuring that our guests receive optimum enjoyment and get the best opportunities to savour this beautiful land.

Drift over the park in a hot air balloon and watch as the sun awakens Mother Africa. On landing, take part in a time honoured ballooning tradition by sharing a glass of sparkling wine, celebrating a kind of splendour only ever viewed by a few.

Should you prefer to be closer to Mother Earth, make it interesting and take a game drive on the back of an elephant. These majestic animals gather at the "Elephants Wallow", a large thatched boma overlooking a waterhole. Take time to touch, feed and photograph them.

Elephant Wallow and a gamedrive

Holding your special event at the boma while the elephants wallow in the water is sure to make you the envy of your party.

Guests can also book a safari in an open gamedrive vehicle that can include either a bushbreakfast or dinner at a venue within the Pilanesberg National Park. The return journey after dinner is aided with spotlights allowing guests the opportunity to view some nocturnal wildlife.

Try your hand at clay pigeon shooting at our outdoor adventure centre. Guests can also join our experienced guides on a quadbike trail through another game park, always with the possibility to see rhino, giraffe and other animals en route.

Practice the ancient art of archery with the help of modern day equipment and our competent instructors. The drum is one of the oldest forms of communication known to man. Synchronise with the beat of the Djembe drum and make sure to heed the call to return speedily.
