Hochland Nest Lodge is uniquely located almost unnoticed and nestled beneath the canopy of the Hochland Mountains - a mere 40 minutes drive from Windhoek and
next to the Friedenau Dam.
Shaded by Camelthorn trees, our lodge is testament to the ingenuity of an Eco-friendly design. As the sun steals its last rays, strokes of purple emanating from the distant mountains making for a breathtaking view, where you can feed your soul and be one with nature.

Our Hochland Nest is cosy and intimate and can accommodate a maximum
of 20 guests. Friendly staff provides attention to each and every guest, creating a home away from home.
Six individually styled units (four standard and two luxury chalets, all equipped with sleeper coaches) and one family unit are tastefully furnished. They offer a choice of reed,
brick and thatched chalets, each with a private en suite bathroom and secluded outside deck. Generous spacing between the units ensures complete privacy. |

Our lodge is ideal for team building, management meetings and staff getaways as well as perfect for weddings and honeymooners. Our conference facilities can accommodate up to 25 people, while we can cater for functions with up to 30 people.
The thatched dining / lounge area opens onto a spacious wooden deck, offering uninterrupted
views. Wildlife can often be observed from these vantage points. A fireplace and lounge as well as a swimming pool are
also available for guests. Other services include laundry and secure parking.

The Friedenau Dam is one of Namibia's hidden gems where the fauna and flora of the area thrive. Naturalists and birders get opportunities to see a variety of bird species, like the elusive fish eagle, hammerkop and yellow hornbill.
The hiking trails and nature drives in open 4x4 vehicles come highly recommended. Mountain zebra, kudu ad oryx roam freely within one of the biggest open protected conservancies in Namibia. Other activities include
morning
walks, fishing, nature or sunset drives, sunset boat cruises and half-day boat trips (max. three people).
