Ballooning is the art of making happy and unexpected discoveries. At Life Ballooning we live by a few simple principles:

- we fly smaller balloons to keep each flight more personal.
We are situated in Delmas less than 50 kilometers east of Pretoria and we are passionate about what we do.

Launching can take place at a game ranch a 40 minutes drive east of Pretoria or in the Magalies Mountains near Skeerpoort. Be prepared to rise early and while enjoying coffee with us, you can watch the whole balloon being assembled and inflated.
Balloons are not steered, but floats gently where the wind takes it.
Ballooning is so much more than just floating on the wind. With an unobstructed 360 degree view, it is excellent for aerial photography and can also be a marketing tool. |

Africa is a land with sensational sunrises and sunsets and kilometres of panoramic vistas and breathtaking nature will pass under you.
Our retrieve crew always follow the balloon on its voyage and the "chase" is often as exciting as the flight itself. Family and friends who are not flying with you, can follow in your car and meet up with you when we land.

A balloon ride is always celebrated with a champagne toast, a tradition that dates back to the 1700's. Afterwards enjoy a farmers' breakfast or sundowner and snacks. Here you can discuss the possibly of joining the School of Ballooning and also aerial shows, like the Albuquerque International Balloon Siesta in America.
Overnight in the area and visit the historic village of Cullinan. Located about an hour's drive north west of Delmas, this is where the world's largest diamond was discovered.
