Whether you are on a family holiday, a romantic getaway or a unique conference / team building break, our houseboats offer a unique and unforgettable experience.

Our 6-berth, aluminium-hulled Aqua Chalets and 4-berth glass fibre Leisure Liners come complete with bedding, galleys, "heads" (shower with chemical toilet) and portable barbecues.

Situated on the banks of the beautiful Knysna Lagoon, we are within driving distance of Knysna's beautiful beaches at Brenton-on-Sea and Buffels Bay, the forests and town centre. The Knysna Lagoon hosts many species of fish and is an 18 kilometre long tidal estuary, which stretches from the Knysna Heads, the entrance from the Indian Ocean, to the Knysna River.

Each houseboat has two fishing licences and a bait collection licence. On our premises a small shop is stocked with fishing equipment and bait, including fishing rods for hire.

There are numerous activities for children on the houseboat itself including swimming, snorkelling and fishing. Anchor at Thesen Island and browse around or visit the many shops, boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants at Thesen Harbour Town and the waterfront. Close by there are fun water slides, mini golf, sailing, canoeing and surfing as well as horse riding.

Our shore facility offers spacious ablution blocks and an indoor/outdoor conference and functions venue. The restaurant seats up to 50 people and has a vast wooden deck with built-in barbecue and panoramic views over the lagoon, ideal for cocktail parties and braais (barbecues).
