Situated in the South African province Mpumalanga - both above and below the mist belts - of the distant Swazi mountain escarpment lies Likweti Lodge & Sanctuary.
Likweti, meaning morning star in SiSwati, is a magnificent 14800 acres of pristine, malaria free wildlife habitat and home to a variety of game and an abundance of birds.

This luxurious and elevated four-star mountain lodge in the heart of the bushveld has eight executive rooms, beautifully furnished in modern African style and comprising en suite bathrooms, spacious bedroom areas and complete audio / visual entertainment systems.
All rooms are thatched bungalows and offer a fully stocked bar fridge, spacious patios and an outdoor shower with stunning views of the Swazi mountains dissolving into the distant horizon, while much nearer numerous species of antelope, monkeys and warthogs as well as the occasional rhino or buffalo come to feed. |

Two luxury suites ensure absolute privacy and boast heated plunge pools.
Besides all of the modern amenities of the executive rooms, each suite comes equipped with a stream body shower large enough for two, a marble bath tub and king size bed with bushview as well as a lounge with gas fire place for the romantic.
Outdoor showers and a large patio afford one with amazing views of the scenery and passing wildlife all culminating in an experience of relaxation to feed the soul and lift the spirit.

Home to three of the Big 5, rhino, leopard and buffalo, our wildlife sanctuary affords you a myriad of photo opportunities that will evoke many special memories for years to come. Two game drives as well as all meals and drinks are included in the price.
Likweti Lodge & Sanctuary also offers you an exceptional bush wedding venue. Mpumalanga's capital, Nelspruit, is a short 25 minute drive away and with Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport a mere 1,6 km from our main entrance gate, getting married in the bush is a dream that really can come true.
And last but not least, we are home to the Second Chance Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre (SCWRC). Rehabilitated animals will be released onto the greater sanctuary of Likweti and allowed to roam free.
