The Magaliesberg Canopy Tour is situated within the spectacular Magaliesberg Mountain Range, a mere 1,5 hours drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria.
It is a unique eco-adventure that takes clients on a two and a half hour tour down the spectacular Ysterhout Kloof.
Slide above the kloof from eleven platforms built high against the cliffs and rock faces.

Much like a "foefie" slide, the canopy tour essentially involves zigzagging down the kloof, while stopping at the platforms to admire the expansive views and surrounding ecology.
Two trained canopy guides assure the safety of each participant while describing interesting facts about the indigenous plants, bird life, ecology and geology of the area. |

Canopy tours originated in the lush rainforests of Costa Rica. Adventurous biologists erected a system of cables through the canopy layer of the forests in order to observe the fauna and flora.
Our canopy tour system has been designed and constructed by a civil engineer and is ideal for the individual thrill seeker, family getaways, group or student excursions and corporate teambuilding.

Refreshments are served during the canopy tour and our vehicle will be ready to pick you up as you exit from the last platform.
After lunch all our guests may make use of the large swimming pool and bar at the Sparkling Waters Hotel & Spa.
Once you have done it we know you will be back and we will be waiting to welcome you.
