Offering visitors a relaxing experience, Monteiro Self Catering & Camping lies in a beautiful setting surrounded by nature with wonderful views over the Auas Mountains.
Opened in 2005, Monteiro offers guests a varied choice of accommodation ranging from Chalets to Campsites and Safari Tents.

Our beautifully furnished guest chalets have twin beds and bunk beds with a double bed in one of the chalets.
The chalets have full, spacious en suite amenities with a bath shower in one room and shower only in the other room.
Filled with all the equipment needed to enjoy a self-catering stay, each chalet has a fridge, microwave, 2-plate stove, TV. Private braai facilities are available. |

The camping areas enjoy lovely, well maintained, grassy locations. Each one of these campsites has electric lights, running water, power points and braai facilities, for which wood can be purchased. There is also a communal kitchen and hygienic ablution facilities.
Safari tents come equipped with bedding, basic crockery, cutlery and an electric kettle, but there are no cooking facilities. However, every tent has its own braai area.
A lovely swimming pool is available for everybody to enjoy and we offer a laundry service on request. At our small kiosk we sell ice cold cool drinks, chips, sweets, ice cream, meat and all other delicious bites.

At Monteiro you can feel the closeness of nature, and if fortunate enough, might spot a Kudu, Oryx or Hartmanns Mountain Zebra. Bird watching is spectacular.
You can also visit the only railway tunnel in Namibia, and all the attractions of Windhoek, which are just moments away.
