Nestling in a declared bird sanctuary at the foot of the Magaliesberg Mountains and on the
banks of the renowned Hartbeespoort Dam, Magalies
Park Country Club is one of South Africa's premier timeshare
and golfing estates.
We are the pulse of life and of living in freedom, away from the maddening city life and dull daily chores, all less than one hour's drive from Johannesburg.

Our timeshare chalets, cabanas and lodges range from two to six sleeper units. All our units are en suite, fully equipped and serviced daily. Each unit is set in natural bush or grass parkland, which lends itself to the beauty of the surrounding area.
The 18-hole golf course was designed by Loutjie van Aswegen and although there are few water holes and no bunkers, this is not a course for the faint-hearted. At the clubhouse, a Pro Shop is made available for all your golfing needs, golf cards and club hire. Lessons are available on request.

Our informal bar is situated in the hub of the resort overlooking a swimming pool and the dam, the perfect place to discuss those missed putts and close holes in one.
We have recently completed our convention centre on River Bend and we have also become renowned for hosting a number of memorable wedding receptions.
At the resort is also a number of venues to quench your thirst and fill the family's bellies. Be it a tasty snack or a buffet extravaganza, we are sure we can satisfy even the most discerning diner.

Magalies Park offers you everything from passive relaxation to active recreation with activities like hiking, tennis, volley ball, or simply lazing around the swimming pools. Join a river cruise or take a paddle boat, go fishing, play giant chess, court cricket or mini golf.
Other facilities in the vicinity include a yacht club, a bowling green, hot air ballooning expeditions and water activities on the dam. There is an aquarium and bird park, a cableway for a panoramic view of the dam, art galleries and craft markets. Day excursions can be arranged to the nearby cheetah park, Sun City and The Cradle of Humankind.
