Predator World, South Africa

Predator World is a zoo and we specialise in caring for predators of all shapes and sizes. We’re conveniently situated 5 kilometres from the Sun City main entrance at the foot of the beautiful Pilanesberg Mountains.

Our tours are guided by well-trained and enthusiastic guides, which makes your visit interesting and fun.

The park was started with only two white and two brown lions. Today, the permanent residents includes Bengal tigers, cheetahs, leopards, small wild cats and a reptile house.

Our animals each have their own unique character which makes them special. Come and meet Sphinx, a white male lion and our African wilddogs, lovingly called the Brady Bunch.

We're also turning the rest of the farm into a game farm where you'll be able to view buffalo, rhino, zebra and other game.

Hamburgers at Scavenger's Lair

The Scavenger’s Lair is our little restaurant where you can taste the best hamburgers in the North West Province.

We can also do all kinds of functions: kiddies parties, lunches and dinners all with their special little twists.

Enrichment Fridays is an opportunity for visitors to become part of the life here at the zoo. Guests learn how to train animals and to build them toys to keep boredom away. Over three hours of fun and cold drinks with lunch afterwards, where you can discuss your findings with a keeper.

Also, visit the Lion’s Den curio shop which stocks anything from ostrich leather products to t-shirts and dvd’s.

The park is open every day from 9:00 to 17:00 and 16:00 on most days is feeding time.
