After the State examination of the medicine in Berlin, Germany, I became both a specialist in Orthopedic and General Surgery in Germany before undergoing my Plastic Surgery training at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town.

I was the senior consultant of the department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery until I went into Private Practice in 1992.

In private practice I cover most aspects of Cosmetic Surgery but my main interest is body contouring procedures like liposuction, breast surgery and abdominoplasties as well as face surgery like face lifting, lid rationalisation and ear correction.

I am still working as a part time consultant at the University Children's Hospital (Red Cross Hospital) performing all operations concerning craniofacial deformities.

I operate at the Chris Barnard Memorial Hospital, a large private clinic in the middle of Cape Town with excellently equipped operating rooms.

Here are all surgical disciplines represented and all types of large surgery are accomplished, inclusive organ transplantations.

My practice is situated in the Cape Quarter in Green Point, a popular meeting point for shopping and restaurants.
