Namib and morning duets of the desert shrike, Rossmund is a tranquil and
unforgettable experience, truly a gem, just waiting to be unveiled.
With its white limestone and natural
rock features, the recently completed Rossmund Lodge reflects the Mediterranean
/ North African building style. Tall palm trees and deep purple bougainvillea
complete the picture. |
| Of the 22 luxurious suites, seven
are en-suite double rooms with satellite television, piped music or DVD
movies on request. Other features include telephone, mini bar / fridge,
coffee / tea facilities, air conditioning and fireplace.
Each suite commands a beautiful view
across the driving range and fairways with desert and dunes forming an
impressive backdrop.
Five suites are triples with a divan
in the private lounge. The triples have all the above amenities.
We also have 2 extremely luxury suites
for those who feel they need extra pampering. |

The main complex houses the reception
area, comfortable bar / lounge with television and piped music.
Construction throughout is of brick
and random limestone walling and quarry tiled floors. |
| Scrumptious breakfasts are served
in the nearby breakfast room, with large doors opening onto a veranda,
letting in the desert breeze. Lunch and dinner are available at the Golf
Club Restaurant. Dinner by prior arrangement.
A luxury shuttle bus is available
by prior arrangement to and from the two coastal airports and is also available
for shopping expeditions and visits to nearby attractions. |
