Owned and operated by the Schoeman Family since 1977, SKELETON COAST FLY-IN SAFARIS continues its tradition of hosting soft adventure safaris for small groups of between two and ten people to the Skeleton Coast Park, western Damaraland and western Kaokoland of Namibia.
Three permanent, private desert camps are strategically located in two of the areas, enabling Skeleton Coast Fly-In Safaris to operate a four day safari using all three camps. |
The safari includes a certain amount of flying (short "hops") and driven excursions each day.
The flying presents a beautiful birds-eye view of the various areas, and is a means to cover great distances between camps in a short space of time, and in relative comfort.
The driven excursions allow us to explore various areas of interest in greater detail and at close range. |

Accommodation consists of igloo tents furnished with comfortable beds, duvets and a table.
Extra amenities such as blankets, towels, soap, shampoo, torches, etc. are also provided.
Each tent has an en-suite bucket shower and chemical toilet.
Food is traditional colonial and includes salads, freshly baked bread, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. |
Each safari is lead by an experienced and responsible pilot-guide, a unique feature, which in itself makes this a truly unforgettable experience.
