The venue comprises a 70-seater restaurant (non-smoking) opening onto a charming 100-seater terrace (smoking) with panoramic views of Table Mountain and the harbour. The fireplace adds warmth and grandeur with a country ambience.

The well-priced menu at Societi Bistro concentrates on satisfying meals and authentic flavours using fresh seasonal produce, with many of the dishes cooked in the time-honoured wood-burning oven.

Our food is honest, fresh and satisfying, prepared by cooks, not celebrity chefs.

For starters, try the goat’s cheese salad with rocket, roasted tomatoes, walnuts and mustard vinaigrette.

Main courses include wood-roasted kingklip with thyme, chilli and garlic, or the shellfish selection with Cape rock lobster, prawns, mussels, langoustines, borlotti bean and tomato salad.

Societi Bistro is open seven days a week for breakfast (9am – 12pm), lunch and dinner (12pm – 11pm). Drinks, light meals, and decadent desserts are available throughout the day.
