Sossus-on-foot offers guided walks,
hikes and excursions for the local or visitor to Namibia.
We offer guided educational walks
of two to three hours, mostly in the area of Deadvlei and Sossusvlei. |
| On a guided walk we will meet you
at the 2x4 parking area and either drive in our vehicle or at request in
your 4x4 into Sossusvlei. From here on we walk around the Deadvlei and
Sossusvlei area dispatching interesting facts and also point out some interesting
sights.
To ensure you get the best of both
worlds please enquire about our guided night walks.
We also offer half day / full day
hikes which are recommended for hikers and strong walkers. |

On a guided excursion, we will meet
you at Sesriem Campsite or Sossusvlei Lodge. From the meeting point the
excursion starts in our vehicle.
Our guide stops at various times
for explanation on the way from Sesriem to Sossusvlei. Once we have reached
the Sossusvlei area, we will also walk around the area of Deadvlei.
After the excursion guests are turned
to the point of pickup. |
| With our exclusive excursion which
is very similar to the guided excursion we offer a little extra with options
to take only one private person, family or group on an exclusive trip.
We also pick up guests on a fly in
excursion at the Sesriem airstrip. After pickup you will be escorted on
an exclusive excursion to Sossusvlei.
Transfers between Sesriem and surrounding
lodges up to 120 kilometres can be arranged. |
