Our lodge is situated approximately 330 kilometers south-west of Windhoek on a 44 000 hectare private reserve amidst the Namib Desert.

It is located directly adjacent to the entrance gate of the Namib Naukluft Park that is sanctuary to some of the highest dunes in the world’s oldest desert, the famous Sossusvlei and the awe inspiring Sesriem Canyon.

Shaded by camel thorn trees, the lodge bears testament to the ingenuity of an eco-friendly design.

Accommodation at the lodge comprises 45 en-suite bedrooms under canvas with adobe-style plaster walls as well as 3 tented family units each sleeping four, all spread out on either side of the main recreational complex.

The décor speaks of African art, culture and tradition while furnishings with soft finishes invite comfort and warmth. When one enters Sossusvlei Lodge, one enters a classic lifestyle of comfort, filled with the thoughtful touch of attentive staff.

After an exciting day out in the desert, one can return to the Lodge and shake off the desert dust with an ice cold local lager in the unique bar, take a refreshing dip in the sparkling pool or browse through the Curio Shop.

Excellent cuisine under the guidance of the lodge’s executive chef is the order of the day in the restaurant and on the al fresco terrace, where one can savour a gourmet meal with great food and wine while taking in the splendid views and watching the game at the waterhole.
